The Butterfield Community Fund, Inc is a non-profit community-based organization whose purpose is to enhance the social, cultural and economic climate within the City of Butterfield and surrounding areas. The Butterfield Community Fund, Inc. has been in existence since June 15, 2018. The organization is looking forward to assisting in a number of civic projects including building a new park area in the city of Butterfield

New Park Improvement Project
The Butterfield Community Fund, Inc. decided to undertake a City Park Improvement Project. The goal of this project is to raise funds totaling $347,000. This will allow the Butterfield Community Fund, Inc. to purchase safe, modern and handicap accessible playground equipment for all ages made of poly and steel. The playground will be surrounded by a cement walk/bike path, which will offer a safe place to walk/bike, as the current area does not have sidewalks. The tennis court, basketball court, volleyball court and soccer area will be refurbished to allow children and adults to have an area of physical activity. New LED lighting will surround the park and sporting areas to help enhance the safety of the park area.
